Canada Final Project
My team and I have been working really hard on the 2008 edition which plunged students in the world of VICHY Capital Soleil and the 13-25 market segment.
Selected amongst 9 teams at HEC Montréal in Canada, our team created from scratch our very own line of products, a creative communication strategy and a whole marketing concept based on personalization and education. We worked one on one with Palm Arnold Communications (advertisers of Volkswagen Canada and President's Choice) as well as with a graphist from the L'Oréal Studio to bring to life our product and packaging ideas.
Our win allowed us (Marie Sagarzazu, Jean-Paul Belmont and I) to participate to the international finals in Paris and compete against 37 other teams. Although we weren't selected in the top 4 finalist teams (USA, UK, Singapore, Argentina), we got great feedback and we had the chance to meet tons of gifted people. Congrats to team USA who won the first prize and a trip worth 10 000 Euros!
Overall, I met gifted people and had the chance to celebrate a lot! I will come back with an extra professional experience and tools that will help me in my new position at Procter & Gamble in Toronto!
